Biff Cane was Val’s husband, a middle aged, slightly overweight man who made a show of being protective to his wife when the trouble began, although she could probably take care of herself. He was one of the loudest demanding that The Doctor be thrown out and actually physically tried to kill him. Afterwards, he looked ashamed of himself.
