The Chief Steward
was a good officer who obeyed the orders of his superiors. He dealt
with the apparently broken down Hosts, making sure they didn’t
annoy the guests. He was in the process of arresting The Doctor as
a stowaway and troublemaker when the meteoroids hit the ship. He tried
to continue doing the right thing, but made one fatal mistake.
Death: The Steward
mistakenly opened a bulkhead door which led to an unpressurised part
of the damaged ship and was sucked out into space along with hundreds
of other bodies and debris floating away – including the TARDIS.
