Chip is a force grown clone with a limited life span. He has an interesting floral pattern of tattoos across his face and body that may have been part of his cloning. Cassandra says she modelled him on her favourite pattern! He was created to be Cassandra’s attendant. He rescued her eyes from the bin when she was killed on Platform One and had a spare piece of skin – from her back – inserted into the frame above her brain capsule. He helps her to escape from the frame into the mind of Rose. When the plague carriers escape he hides in one of their chambers until everything is quiet. He volunteers to have Cassandra’s personality in his body, but that weakens him.

Death - The Doctor, showing compassion for Chip and Cassandra takes him back in time to when Cassandra was Human and he dies in her arms.
