Danny Llewellyn is project manager of the Guinevere 1 space probe. It was he who put a time capsule aboard it with details of Earth culture, including a phial of type A Positive blood. As a result he feel responsible for the Sycorax controlling the A Positive humans and tries to negotiate with them. He pleads with them to show compassion.

Death – Compassion is not in the Sycorax dictionary. He is murdered by the leader using his electrified whip that reduces a human body to a smoking skeleton
