Kenny is the fat boy that everyone ignores. He is not allowed to eat chips, being on a special diet, presumably, and so isn’t affected by the oil that is controlling the others. When Mr Finch accelerates his programme, locking all the children in the school, Kenny tries to find a way out. With Mickey he joins The Doctor, Rose, Sarah Jane and K9 in the battle with the Krillitane. He is the one who realises they can be affected by loud noises and turns on the fire alarms. With the school burning, Kenny is hailed as a hero by the other students.
