Major Blake is a U.N.I.T. man who works with Harriet to try to trace The Doctor. Failing him he agrees to call in Torchwood. He knows about The Doctor as the ‘stuff of legend’. He is transported up to the Sycorax ship with Harriet, Alex and Danny Llewellyn.

Death - When Llewellyn is killed he protests about articles of war. The Sycorax leader kills him with the whip.
