The Wire was executed by its own people but escaped as a form of electrical energy and hid in the television sets in Magpie’s shop. Taking the image of a female presenter on the BBC she promised Magpie that he would not be harmed as long as he helped her to take over the transmitter at Alexander Palace and turn it into a receiver to suck the lifeforce out of everyone in Britain who was watching the Coroniation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Death – The Doctor trapped The Wire on a Betamax tape and then recorded over it, extinguishing her lifedorce.
