Ella and Joshua were the two fantasy children of Donna and Lee, a girl and a boy who liked stories and playing in the playground. Miss Evengalista showed Donna that they were copies of a pattern. All the children in the park were Ella and Joshua. When the fantasy unravelled, the two children disappeared. They were seen again, however, as the children of River Song in the virtual afterlife.
