Name – Anne Chaplette
Anne Chaplette was a servant in the house of Simon Duval. She overheard talk about the massacre at Vase, a country village that she fled after her family were killed. She feared a repeat in Paris. Steven wanted to help her, and was able to stop the Abbot from hurting her, but The Doctor insisted that she must stay in Paris when they leave and that history must take its course. Steven was sure she was killed along with the 10,000 Hugenots massacred on St. Bartholomew’s Eve, but The Doctor couldn’t be certain.
