Baker is one of the London resistance. When the group is broken up after the failed attack on the space ship he tells David that he is going to head for Cornwall. David gives him a hip flask for his journey, but he runs straight into a Dalek patrol after leaving him.

Death – Baker is killed by a Dalek patrol intent on wiping out any humans they come across.
