Name – Admiral de Coligny
Admiral de Coligny was leader of the Huguenots. Wary of his growing influence on the King, he had been targeted for death by Catherine de Medici. A first assassination attempt was made against him on 22 August 1572, but failed thanks to Steven and Anne Chaplette's intervention.
Death: De Coligny was killed two days later during the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre
