Name – The Commander
The Commander was the leader of a space exploration vessel that came to the Sens-sphere many years before. There had been a fight among the crew and half of them took the ship and tried to escape the planet but were killed when it exploded. The Commander and two subordinates stayed on the planet and all three went mad, believing they were still running a guerrilla war against the Sensorites by poisoning the water. When The Doctor led them all out of the caves the Sensorites took them prisoner but only in order to cure them of their insanity, caused by the psychic aura of the planet.
