The vagrant had obviously just got out of prison, with a package of belongings and a pound note in his pocket. He met up with Ben outside the Inferno and told him he was sleeping in the old warehouse. Later, he found that the warehouse was being used by the hypnotised War Machine builders.

Death: The vagrant was beaten to death by the hypnotised workers on the orders of WOTAN.
