The young woman is disheveled and clearly slightly deranged when Barbara and Jenny first encounter the two women in a small house in the woods near the Bedford mining camp. She goes out to take clothes to the camp, but in fact alerts the Daleks to the presence of two strangers in exchange for food which she eats gleefully as they are taken away
