Name – King John
The King was in fact Kamelion, a morphic robot controlled by The Master, who brought him from Xeraphas. He planned to use him to destabilise English democracy when it was its infancy. It was the first of his planned destructions of societies throughout the galaxy. The Doctor broke The Master’s hold over Kamelion and took him with him when he left Earth.
