Name - Andrew Verney
Andrew Verney was Tegan's uncle. He lived in Little Hodcombe and discovered the Malus in the local church. He reported it to Sir George Hutchinson, who awakened the entity and was influenced by its evil. Verney was locked up by Sir George to prevent him stopping the War Games. When Turlough was locked up with him they escaped and found The Doctor. Between them they defeated the Malus.
