Christopher Tranchell had three significant roles in Doctor Who. In 1966 he was Roger Colbert in The Massacre. In 1967 he played Jenkins in The Faceless Ones. In 1978 he returned for the iconic part of Andred the Chancellery Guard commander who falls in love with Leela in Invasion of Time.
