Brett Vyon in the Jungle ijn Dalek Masterplan

In the ambitious twelve part story, Dalek Master Plan which ran from November 1965 to January 1976, Nicholas Courtney made his debut as a Doctor Who cast member in the significant role of Bret Vyon.

But he is far better known as first Colonel and then Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart. He made his first appearance in Web of Fear in February 1968, before being promoted and put in charge of U.N.I.T. He was Section Leader Lethbridge Stewart in the alternative universe of Inferno and even after he retired he encountered The Doctor several more times.
