In 1970, Geoffrey Beevers, husband of Caroline John who was then playing The Doctor’s assistant, Liz Shaw, had a very small role in The Ambassadors of Death as Private Johnson. He came back eleven years later in a larger role, but one which kept his face hidden – the emaciated and mutated Master in The Keeper of Traken.
