Packer and Vaughn Peter Halliday has had a wide and varied career as a Doctor Who actor, spanning the decades. His first appearance was as Vaughn’s largely inept henchman, Packer, in The Invasion, making him one of the chosen few to become animated characters in the Cosgrave Hall reconstruction of that story. In the early Third Doctor era he played voice parts for Silurians and Aliens in The Silurians and Ambassadors of Death respectively, before donning silver make up along with Michael Wisher and Terence Lodge as the functionaries of Inter Minor.
A Worried Pletrac With the Fourth Doctor he again played a voice role as a Jagaroth in City of Death and also a well performed if brief role as a Florentine soldier who tries to arrest The Doctor in the house of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Giving The Doctor The Medici Welcome And finally, in 1988, he played another small but important part as the blind Vicar who performs a funeral service for the Hand of Omega casket in Seventh Doctor story Remembrance of The Daleks.
