He began in 1979 as a ‘bandit’ in the Fourth Doctor story, The Creature from the Pit, then four roles in the fifth Doctor era, as a Kinda, as Buccaneer First Officer in Enlightenment, as a Man-At-Arms in The King’s Daemons, and finally a soldier in The Caves of Androzani
