Peter Murphy also known as Murphy Grumbar and Murray Grumbar, was a regular Dalek operator in the 1960s and 1970s. He played a Dalek in the first Dalek serial - The Daleks - in 1963/1964, in Dalek Invasion of Earth, 1964, The Evil of the Daleks, 1967, Day of the Daleks, 1972, Frontier in Space, 1973, Planet of The Daleks, 1973 and Death To The Daleks, 1974.

He also played a Mechanoid in The Chase (1965) and Arcturus in The Curse of Peladon, (1972)
