Phillip Madoc had four significant roles in stories for two Doctor. In 1968 he was Eelek the dishonoured leader of the Gonds in the story of The Krotons. Later the same year he was the War Lord, one of the beings who was kidnapping armies from different Earth cultures to fight the War Games.
