Richard Beale began his Doctor Who career as the voice of a Refusian in The Ark, 1966. In the same year he was Bat Masterson in The Gunfighters. In 1967 he had the voice role of propaganda broadcaster in The Macra Terror. In 1973 he had the small but important role of Minister for Ecology in The Green Death.
