Roy Evans began his Doctor Who career as Trantis, one of the federation delegates in the Dalek Masterplan. He returned in 1973 and the Third Doctor classic Green Death in which he played the memorable part of Bert the miner who Jo formed an attachment to before his death.  He returned as another miner, Rima, this time on Peladon, in The Monster of Peladon
