Lan the Movellan

Tony Osoba had two chances to play a character in Doctor Who, and both times he got lumbered with an embarrassing costume. In Destiny of the Daleks in 1979, he was Lan, a Movellan, in possibly the daftest outfit ever worn by a humanoid. In 1987 in Dragonfire he had a WW1 German officer’s outfit in pure white. So far he hasn’t risked appearing in the new series!
