Jean Rook

Wanda Ventham has had a long association with Doctor Who. In 1967, she was Jean Rock, working at Gatwick Airport in The Faceless Ones. Ten years later, she had the key role of Thea Ransome, a scientist taken over by the Fendahl in Omage of the Fendahl. Ten years later on and she returned in Sylvester McCoy’s first episode as the tragic but determined Faroon, whose daughter was cruelly killed by The Rani’s traps.
