Ysanne Churchman,Played Grace Archer in the BBC radio soap "The Archers", and the character famously died in a fire on 30th September 1955 - which just happened to be the opening night of ITV.

Her Doctor Who connection is as the voice of Alpha Centauri in The Curse of Peladon, 1972 and The Monster of Peladon, 1974 and as the voice of Lupton's Spider, also in 1974.
