Charles Morgan died in 2,000 after a career in British TV and films that began in 1949. He played two important guest roles in Doctor Who. in 1967 he was Abott Songsten in The Abominable Snowmen, and eleven years later, in 1978 he was the Time Lord called Gold Usher who inaugurated The Fourth Doctor as Lord High President of Gallifrey in Invasion of Time.
