Born: 24 April 1933
Claire Davenport was an actress on stage, TV and film
since 1964. Being a large woman she was often cast in roles such as
‘Stout Lady’. Most famously she was the exotic dancer
Yarna D'al Gargan in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In
1964 she was Empress of China in Marco Polo.
