Donald Pickering was a fine British actor with many great roles under his belt, including Lt. Col. Mackenzie in A Bridge Too Far. Dr Watson in a TV adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, a role in the Champions, and much more.
He had three classic roles in Doctor Who - Eyesen in Keys of Marinus, (1964) Captain Blade in The Faceless Ones (1967) and Beyus in Time and the Rani (1987).
