Edward Brayshaw was best known and best loved as the ‘boss’ of Rentaghost on children’s television. Long before then he had two significant roles in Doctor Who. In 1964 he was Léon Colbert in Reign of Terror and in 1969 he was the first renegade Time Lord we ever met as The War Chief in War Games.
