As King John in The King's Daemons Gerald Flood was an actor in film and television of long-standing repute. He appeared in the Pathfinders science fiction series which was one of Doctor Who’s immediate predecessors in the genre. He played Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder in the epic war film, Patton and was a regular face on British TV in the 1960s and 1970s. His role in Doctor Who, as the voice of Kamelion, was a small and often overlooked one, but his contribution is, nevertheless, duly acknowledged.
