Hugh
Burden had been an actor in film and TV since 1937. He was considered
for the role of professor Edward Waterfield in the 1967 Doctor Who
story, Evil of the Daleks. He was later given the role of Channing
in the debut Third Doctor story, Spearhead
from Space.
