John Bailey’s TV and film career stretched from the 1940s to the 1980s. In 1964, he was Edward Waterfield, Victoria’s scientist father who was misled and eventually killed by the Daleks. In 1979 he returned to Doctor Who in the small role of Sezom in The Horns of Nimon.
