John Dearth, a well known actor in films and TV from the 1950s, with parts in series such as Z Cars, Softly Softly, Dixon of Dock Green and other favourites of the era played two significant parts in classic Jon Pertwee episodes. He was the voice of BOSS the computer in Green Death and Lutpon the collaborator with the Spiders of Metebelis Three in Planet of The Spiders.
