John Gill was a regular character actor on British TV and in films from 1958 when he appeared in the one off drama The Government Inspector to 1998, when he was in the film The Land Girls.He has appeared in series as diverse as All Creatures Great and Small, Juliet Bravo and Tales of The Unexpected. In 1968 he appeared in the Second Doctor serial, Fury from The Deep as the rather sinister Mr. Oak.
