Kevin Stoney served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War before taking up acting. He played Thrasyllus in both the BBC's I Claudius and the earlier Granada TV's 1968 production of The Caesars. He played roles in episodes of both "The Avengers" and "Doctor Who" with Nicholas Courtney.
He played three separate roles in Doctor Who. In 1965/66 he was Mavic Chen in Dalek Masterplan. In 1968 he was Tobias Vaughn in The Invasion. In 1975 he was Tyrum in Revenge of the Cybermen.
He retired from acting in the 1990s.
