Born, 28 August 1906
Leslie Dwyer began his acting career during World War II, appearing in many British war films. He went on to be a regular in films and TV. His last role was as the children’s entertainer who hated children in the comedy Hi De Hi.
In 1973 he was Vorg, owner of the Carnival of Monsters.
