Maurice Denham was a renowned British character actor who began his career on radio in vintage shows such as ITMA and Much Binding in the Marsh. He is noted as the judge who sent Ronnie Barker to jail in the first episode of Porridge. In 1984 he played Prof. Edgeworth aka Time Lord Azmael in The Twin Dilemma, Colin Baker’s first story.
