Peter Ling
Peter was the writer of the popular Troughton story, the Mind Robber. There is an unconfirmed story that he wsa commissioned to write a story for Peter Davison's Doctor which would have had a romantic element for The Doctor but John Nathan Turner didn't like the idea. He is best known for the creation of the soap opera, Crossroads - remember the last lines of the credits. Written by Hazel Adair and Peter Ling.
