Terry Nation
Terry Nation is the man who invented Daleks. He wrote several major TV shows in the 1970 and 1980s. Among those he created were The Survivors, a 1970s drama about the survivors of a modern plague outbreak that was ahead of its time, Blakes Seven, and in the USA where he died, MacGyver, which launched Richard Dean Anderson as a leading man before Stargate.
