Lizzie Lewis was a seventeen year old girl who was raped and killed by Ed Morgan in the 1950s. She was a shy young thing in a pink coat who went to a dance, intending to be home by nine o’clock. Ed had already upset and frightened her when he caught up with her under the canal bridge and first cajoled her into thinking it was all right before attacking her. Officially her killer was never found.
