Geraint Cooper is a nice old man who tried his best to understand his daughter’s problems, but when told that she was pregnant with an alien child, and that she worked for Torchwood, and organisation that hunts aliens, he had trouble coping with it. Later, he was shocked to learn that Torchwood was real.

William Thomas has appeared in Classic and New Doctor Who and Torchwood. As yet, the only actor to do so.
