The alien Manatee, or space whale, called the ‘Cash Cow’ by the Harris brothers, was thought to have fallen through the Rift, into the sea, and beached itself. In its helpless state, it was found and stored in a warehouse where it was then cut up and turned into meat to be sold to food companies. When cut up, as well as exhibiting the ability to regenerate, it also showed a visible increase in size with each regeneration.

Death: Owen was forced to inject the creature with poison – a mercy killing. Later the body was incinerated.
