Bonnie Langford’s TV acting career was sparse before and after Doctor Who. The curse of Violet Elizabeth dogged her adult acting life. She has been, however, a successful theatre performer, mainly in musical theatre, all her life. In truth, that is probably her natural environment. She brought that aspect of her career to TV in the 1980s in The Hot Shoe Show, and most recently she performed excellently in Dancing on Ice, only losing out due to the vagaries of the voting system. She has also recently appeared in the West End as Roxie in Chicago. She is, of course, a regular Big Finish Audio contributer, keeping the Doctor Who connection alive.
