Caroline John has continued to work in television but not really in any starring role and mostly one off episodes of serials such as Midsomer Murders, Silent Witness, Dangerfield, Eastenders, Casualty, the stock material of British TV. Her most significant role in the 1980s was as Helene in the wartime drama “Wish Me Luck”. But ‘Liz Shaw’ still remains her most enduring part and one she reprised in the Dimensions in Time charity episode. She has played other characters in Big Finish Audio productions. She keeps up with the Doctor Who franchise through conventions and has recorded a commentary for the DVD of Spearhead from Space, her debut Doctor Who Episode.

Caroline is married to Geoffrey Beevers, who played The Master in Keeper of Traken.
