Mawdryn

David Collings is connected to Doctor Who through his memorable performance as Mawdryn in Mawdryn Undead. His acting career since has included guests parts in programmes such as Juliet Bravo, Boon, Miss Marple and The Darling Buds of May. But his most regular work was in children's television. After playing Mr Winters in several episodes of The Press Gang (written by Doctor Who writer, Steven Moffat and his father, Bill Moffat). He later moved to Australia and was the voice of Rattus P. Rattus in The Ferals and a puppeteer in Bananas in Pyjamas for ABC Children's TV programming.
