David Troughton, son of Patrick, of course, had a couple of roles in Doctor Who, most notable as King Peladon in the first of the two Peladon stories of the Third Doctor era. He is still a busy actor, appearing in many different TV series. He is best known, however, for his role as Sir Arthur Wellesley, The Duke of Wellington, in the 1990s period blockbuster, Sharpe. |
