Frazer Hines has only really had two parts he is known for. Either as the kilted Jamie in the Patrick Troughton era of Doctor Who, or as Joe Sugden in Emmerdale Farm, in the days when it WAS about farming. These days, between guest appearances in TV staples such as Dalziel and Pascoe he is a regular Convention guest for both Doctor Who and Emmerdale fanatics. He is also on the books of a popular ‘dinner speaker’ agency, and can be engaged to speak about either of his most famous roles or about acting in general. He is also a Water Rat, doing work for charity.
